Located within Noma, the Istr, a fresly opened Oyster bar restaurant, welcomes you in a neat and original surroundings to savour a land and sea flavored fine cuisine, punctuated by the best of what oyster farming has to offer, all pairing with nature wines and mixed drinks. Agence en Place was consulted by Philippe Morin and Pierre Michael Smague to design and build the bar interior layout, following the touch and specifications designed by Hecho Inc., an architectural agency from New York. The realisation features a particular mise en place to shuck and serve the oysters’ draw up, as well as two cocktail stations, inside a large circle shape bar. The whole set also includes the coordination of various contractors, such as the bar's structure with its technical floor made by the carpenter, or the top bar made by Nectoux, genuine pewter manufacturer.
